My work is heavily influenced by Carl Jung, particularly his concepts of synchronicity and the collective unconscious. Whilst they are not the easiest concepts to understand they can be extremely powerful tools to negotiate the challenges of life, reduce stress, and liberate your peak performance.
We all greatly underestimate our own innate ability, and the massive power of our unconscious mind to ignite our creativity.
The content of this page are being continually updated, and still require much work. Follow your instincts and hopefully synchronicity will guide you to content that resonates with you.
Some of my videos
3 Principles might give you a headache, but it will be worth it.
Here are 3 brief videos from Sydney Banks as another taster.
I have also found the philosophies of Syd Banks very valuable. His 3 Principles are not unique, and have been recurring themes over the centuries. However Banks presented these universal truths in a way that resonates strongly with me, and many others too.
Here are a collection of some of my rambling thoughts loosely based on Jungian theory and 3 Principles that you may or may not find helpful. I hope that they might act as a catalyst for your thoughts and so help you connect to the massive power of your unconscious mind. This is also known as universal wisdom. Jung called it our collective unconscious.
I describe it to new clients as, “you already have everything you need to achieve your goal. The only problem is that you do not know where to find it. This is how I can help you.”
Sources of profound inspiration
Viktor Frankyl (concentration camp survivor)
Human existence – at least as long as it has not been neurotically distorted – is always directed to something, or someone, other than itself, be it a meaning to fulfil or another human being to encounter lovingly.
For man is originally characterised by his search for meaning rather than his search for himself. The more he forgets himself – giving himself to a cause or another person – the more human he is.
And the more he is immersed and absorbed in something or someone other than himself the more he really becomes himself.
George Bernard Shaw
This is the true joy in life the being used for a purpose recognised by yourself as an mighty one; are being thoroughly worn out before you are thrown on the scrapheap; the being a force of Nature instead of a feverish selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy.
Jung’s research and his analysis of himself lead him to the conclusion that life has a spiritual purpose.
He believed that “Our main task is to discover and fulfil our deep and innate potential.”
He studied many religions that he came to the theory of individuation, which he believed is at the heart of all religions. In summary individuation is a journey to meet ythe self and at the same time to meet the Divine.
The Creative Process
Give and take. Achieving flow requires both. Receptive – showing up means daydreaming, and opening up to receive. Creative – showing up means getting in front of your clients, setting up programs, and being present.
George Bernard Shaw – “the true joy in life is being used for a purpose recognised by yourself as a mighty one.” This means letting go, giving up the strain, but staying in the game.
Sometimes it is not what you hear or read about wisdom that counts. Words are only a communication shortcut. Wisdom is a master of disguise, and can manifest in a different form when least expected. Wisdom leads to insight. It is like seeing a hologram for the first time. Once you have seen it can never be unseen. It takes some people seconds and others a lifetime.
Be brave. Put yourself in the game and the ability will follow.
The problem with plans and goals is that wisdom lives in the moment and shows up when it is ready. It cannot be forced. The best we can do is show up and see what happens.
The number of fresh thoughts we have is a good indicator of success. Seeing new ideas and opportunities is a sign that creative energy is being mobilised. It is seeing beyond normal thought patterns. The more new ideas and opportunities that you pursue the more likely success is to follow.
“Of course you’ve got to make a profit for your business. That’s common sense. But if you don’t take it seriously and do the same things, you’ll make the same money. As a matter fact it’s far far better, because you’re having a good time doing it.” Syd Banks
Stockdale was an American POW in Vietnam. This quotation is known as the Stockade Paradox.
“This is a very important lesson. You must never confuse faith that you will prevail in the end—which you can never afford to lose—with the discipline to confront the most brutal facts of your current reality, whatever they might be.”
When we are in flow we have thousands of thoughts every hour. Flow stops when we pick a single thought and turn it into a problem. The solution will come when we are back in flow. Problems are only in our head and not in the real world.
“Resilience comes from knowing that anything is possible. We are connected to universal intelligence and need to remember this. We should never be emotionally affected by failure because it is the wrong response.
As an example think of the tennis ladder. If you only play the best you will lose a lot but learn a lot. Failure means doing difficult things and forces you to use universal intelligence. The game is what counts, not the result.
Put 100% of focus on how are you play and and 0% on the Score board. If clients are not happy give them a refund.” George Pransky
All training should be periods of intense activity followed by rest.
When I am working with a single client or a group of people I am in flow. I am present. I am not worried about what I or others may think. Almost all my attention is focused on the client. I use my unconscious mind to the maximum to detect the smallest changes that help me in my work. Just like the surfer I have a sixth sense of what is going to be important, and what will not. Also I know that sooner or later the right wave will manifest and take me and the client back to the beach safely.
“Amaze yourself with your daring” Laurence Olivier
Mind + thought + consciousness = reality. Mind + new thoughts + consciousness = new reality
Measurements have shown that brain activity commences seven seconds before a conscious thoughts surfaces. It is similar with inspiration. The harder you look for it the less likely you are to find it. It is a wind that just comes. Put your boat in the right place and sooner or later the wind will blow you in the right direction.
The invisible Giants certainly were on my side, and a higher than normal proportion of my actions were rewarded in one way or another.
These final musings are adapted from the brilliant work of Michael Neill.
What do I know? What don’t I know? What do I wonder?
The value of fear is that it is feedback that creativity is not being used.
Infinite potential = infinite possibilities
As thoughts move from inside our head to outside our body so does formless become form.
Obstacles are the things that get in our way
The three most important things to focus on is to listen for insight, just get it. Listen to what is true, For a universal fundamental truth like gravity, something that does not have to be remembered. Let it come to you. There is no need to chase it.
We have a diamond core. Then it collects rubbish which sticks to the outside. So we cover the rubbish with nail polish to make it look Nice. Both of these steps are totally unnecessary, because our diamond Centre is our universal wisdom, it is our inner GPS, and is always switched on.
Ability is not genetic. Skills are learned. However learning is innate. Practice works. It takes time so don’t quit.
Thought is like dust stirred up by a car. Sooner or later it settles down until the next car comes. It is best to avoid the cars and the dust and just recognised them for what they are. The worst thing is to keep looping thoughts because they will create more and more dust. As long as we are brave we can walk through dust clouds.
The problem with belief is that people think it is truth. They think that a self limiting belief is a self limiting truth. If we do certain things and work hard we will achieve success. Unfortunately X does not equal Y. The true equation is X + ? = Y. ‘?’ is all the unexpected things that we did not anticipate, and all of the fresh thoughts that by definition we had not thought of.
There are three kinds of energy, physical, mental, and spirit energy. This is the most important because we are always plugged in and it is unlimited. We are not aware of this energy if we are distracted and thought blocks it.
Usually other people are not obstacles, it is the way we think about other people the associated hallucinations. We are connected to other people by Energy which is there all the time. The best way to connect with other people is to do it without an agenda, that comes later.
The main message is to not force it. It is like driving a hybrid car. Motivation is running on petrol and it’s hard work. After a few hours strain will tell on the engine and the body. Inspiration is like running on electricity because it is free.
You can put gold and cash in a wheelbarrow, but not money. It is only paper and used for barter, just like salt used to be. It can buy things and provide security. Most people have very little fresh thought about money. Probably because it has so much emotion attached to it. Try to unleash creative intelligence and get new ideas on how to make more money, access more money, or create new money.
Real fear comes when there is a real risk of physical injury or death. It stimulates relaxation and mental clarity. Most people think they have fear but in reality they just worry to much. They become expert at creating worrying movies and believe it is for real. This causes stress and can lead to serious illness. Never see fear as an obstacle. It is worry that takes you away from the moment and blocks your universal guidance.
In summary there are two themes. The first is the obstacles that surround us, And the second is defining success.
We believe the obstacles are insurmountable because our thoughts are so convincing and we forget they are imaginary. Obstacles can usually be overcome but I thought and action in the right place at the right time. Our guiding intelligence is always there.
In simple terms success is only inheriting our birthright and like a family succession. It is waking up to where we really are and our divine inheritance. This is success and all we need to achieve whatever we want in life.
Psychoic – work in progress
Definition Psychoic – there is not one at present. Best I can find is this one – “My Psychoic skills are working well today” said in response to knowing something is going to happen while you are “off your rocker” or having a crazy busy day. https://www.urbandictionary.com
Definition Psychosis – Psychosis is a mental health problem that causes people to perceive or interpret things differently from those around them. This might involve hallucinations or delusions. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/psychosis/
Definition Psychic – Having a special mental ability, for example so that you are able to know what will happen in the future or know what people are thinking. https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/psychic
My definition of Psychoic (work in progress) – a special mental intuitive ability to perceive or interpret things differently from those around them. This may include a premonition that they can guess what will happen in the future, or what people are thinking.
