How To Keep Your New Year Resolutions

by | Dec 26, 2013 | Articles, Golf, Personal Development

“I made too many Resolutions this year. It will take me at least two weeks to break them all……”

One person who did keep her resolutions in 2013 was Swedish golfer Anjelika Hammar. We have had great fun working together. After narrowly missing out at Q school last year following a serious burn she survived 5 gruelling rounds in Morocco this year to earn her European Ladies Tour card. This should enable her to play at least eight tournaments during 2014.

Her fellow players had better watch out – she has a wicked sense of humour.

What are your resolutions this year? One thing is for sure, writing is the doing part of thinking. So write them down, and this will be the result.

  • Now it is more probable that you might actually keep these resolutions, unlike last year.
  • If you also remind yourself daily about these resolutions for at least one month it is much more likely that you will keep them.
  • If you also tell another person about your resolutions it is almost guaranteed that you will keep them.
  • Get a coach – then your results will exceed your wildest expectations! No place to hide!

Even if you do not hit all of your targets in 2014, you will still feel happier than you might expect. It is because you have exercised a degree of control over your life, and that is something we all want more of.

Good luck, and let me know about your successes!
